The crop
In May 2009 Dannii walks the red carpet @ the annual Logie Awards in Australia. She has a new do which she created with the help of hair and Make Up artist Fotini Hatzis, now known as 'the crop'. A new Dannii is born.

The Hair Factor
Dannii's hair is having a life of it's own and her short new do creates a hair mania in the U.K. She has everything from a classic bob to a Elvis Presley inspired style

But it wasn't until the live shows that it really was in focus.
@ the final shows she had inspired everyone from Paris Hilton to Keira Knightley.
Dannii was awarded Hair Icon Of The Year by various fashionistas and is one of the most requested hairstyles in the country.

A new era
Dannii was announced a judge on the Australian version of Simon Cowell's new talent show - Got Talent. Dannii was spotted with a new do in each shows!

Shortly after, she came on board The X factor in the U.K still having fun with her hair but the feud with Sharon Osbourne & Louis Walsh is getting all the attention.

She releases a one off single, and in the video she is wearing a bright red wig worn by Joan Collins.

Series 2 of AGT starts and Dannii has long extensions which she mixes with shorter sometimes curlier hair. She also sports a fringe which is something new.

For the second series on X Factor she keeps the long locks but again is having many different styles.

Dannii music
She keeps the black hair for a while as she begins to make music. In the 90's she adds blonde streaks to the it to then come back as a platinum blonde. By accident she goes red for a little while again and when she took on the lead role in Notre Dame De Paris, she was back to being a brunette again. The brunette locks got a crop and Dannii once again added a few blonde streaks to her new short do. After a while she got tired and started wearing extensions, first all in dark hair but then later coloured her hair her hair in a dark blonde shade with dark roots.

In 2005 she made this special report on her new classy Hollywood star look and in 2006 Dannii started to change her look as well as her hair.

Who would have thought that one day Dannii would become a hair icon? Actually, it isn't so surprising to fans. We've seen her from Young Talent Time to The X Factor in everything from platinum blonde to deep black.
Her hairdressers have said she is a dream to work with because she isn't afraid of the cut and the radical change it can bring.

In May 2009 she made 'the crop' with the help of Fotini Hatzis which stole the show @ the Logies that year, but it wasn't until she stepped on The X Factor in 2009 that her hair was in focus. Now after being watched by almost 20 millions, her hair is one of the hottest things in the U.K. Hairdressers even stated that she has helped create jobs because now everyone wants to style a celebrity on TV.

Let's take a look at some of the many do's of the lovely Ms Minogue from a young teen to the mature woman she is today.

Young Talent Time
Dannii is developing into a young lady and has a lot of fun with her hair.
Different lengths, colours and sometimes even wigs. This It-girl of the 80's just wanted to have fun!

After YTT Dannii enters the world of soaps starring in 60's drama 'All the way'. When she starts her role as Emma Jackson on 'Home & Away', she goes gothic in raven hair.

It all started 1977.
A tiny tott called Danielle Minogue appeared on the biggest TV show in Australia, Young Talent Time as an extra. And TV land was never the same again.

She's now a TV Super Star, and even though she's been in the biz for almost all her life, she has only just begun...
Here's the TV Icons road to success.

Young Talent Time
Little Danielle appeared in the soaps Skyways and Sullivans but it was when she auditioned for YTT on her 8th birthday ín 1979 that her life was about to change.

Danielle, who preferred to be called Dannii, started in Johnny Youngs Talent School and in 1982 she made her first performance as a team member on the show.

From 1982 to 1988 Dannii was the biggest child star in Australia singing, dancing, acting, presenting,choreographed and she even produced a bit. Dannii and her team mate Vince Del Tito were so popular that they were asked to stay on the show as senior members.
The usual rule was to leave after your 16th birthday.
Dannii had already scooped her very first record deal at this point.

Dannii also was a part of The New Generation , a spin off show to YTT that was broadcasted in the US and Canada.
Young Talent Time was cancelled and Dannii appeared on the 60's drama serie All the way.

Home & Away
It was after that she was offered to play Emma Jackson on Home and Away, a role which was especially written for Dannii.
The show became a huge success in her home country, in fact it's still their biggest soap to this day. It was also the show to launch Dannii to the U.K.
The British people loved the tough fiesty Emma and Dannii became a mega star.
She left the show in 1990.

Presenting, hosting & judging
In 1992 she returned to the TV screen presenting the popular morning show The Big breakfast.
She even made a parachute jump live on the show!

She was asked back in 1994 to present some more on the show.

She also hosted Fan TC Ran which for 2 series. It was a fan quiz show where 2 teams competed against each other to win a prize. It was mostly pop fans of different groups/singers.
Dannii co hosted it with Toby Anstis from 94-95.

Dannii co hosted the roadshow Eggs on legs live on the Big Breakfast with Richard Bacon. For 2 hours every morning during the summer -95 and -96, Dannii & Richard entertained a huge outdoor event in various cities and towns in the uk, featuring music, celebrities, games & quizzes.
She also hosted 3 Disney Specials for the bbc.
Lion King, Disney Villains and Cirque Du Monde.
It featured clips from disney films and Dannii talked inbetween clips.

In 1996 Dannii co-hosted 2 shows as well as hosting the Childrens Awards.

Scoop was a young person/teenagers tv show featuring weird and wonderful features from around the world, interviews with some celebrities, wildlife footage of dolphins, the bikini story, what is ice cream, Hollywood and loads of more.

Popular It's not just Saturday featured celebrity guests, teenage problems discussions, phone in quizzes, viewers letters etc

Top of the pops is another music show she has hosted. She was on TOPS 02/05/97 and 16/05/97.
Dannii Minogue - TOTP

Electric Circus was a 15 minute programme included on the tv show live and kicking. A saturday morning celebrity news/interview specials. Dannii presented it, it ran for about 15 episodes. Dannii also interviewed some celebrities for the show too.

Dannii decided to focus on her music and did some musicals as well.
She appeared in many shows and sketches but it wasn't until 2006 that she returned to our TV screen.

Her comeback was a new series called Australia's Got Talent. Dannii was signed up to judge on the talent show and her life had officially come full circle. The show was an instant hit and is now on it's 3rd series. Thanks to her success she was nicknamed 'Dannii's Got Talent' in TV land of Oz. It was also the show that re-launched her in the U.K.

In 2007 Dannii landed a role as a judge on the big talent show The X Factor.
She was again a hit with the people and despite the constant disapproval from the media , she has now in her second series won the hearts of the British people. Now all of the sudden everyone wants to have The X Factor and it's Dannii her fellow showbiz colleagues want to have replaced so that they too can get a bit of that X Factor.

Being on X Factor has also made her a favourite amoungst children.
She was asked to host the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards where she delighted the kids by getting slimed.

Being a huge TV star in both Australia and the U.K, there is also now a growing interest in the US. Dannii was asked to judge and appear on several shows but had to decline their offers due to other commitments. But she did accept one role.

Dannii made her debut on American TV november 11 2008.

In 2009 Dannii returned to acting and made cameo appearances on The PAM ANN Show and Beautiful People.

In 2010 she hosted her own TV show called 'Ultimate Movie Toons' and the same year she also launched 'Style Queen. A 3 part documentary where she invited viewers into her launch of fashion label Project D but also other parts of her showbiz life.

Like many other Australian artists, Dannii has performed @ the Sydney Mardi Gras, one of the world's biggest Gay&lesbian events. But unlike the other artists she's the only one who has appeared 2 years in a row.
Her first performance in 1998 was such a huge hit that she was asked to headline the following year, 1999.

And that's not all, she was approached by Mardi Gras Records to help launch the first ever gay and lesbian record label with a singles release. She re-recorded "Everlasting Night", a song originally recorded in 1995 for her unreleased album with Mushroom International. The video shot @ Home night club in Sydney featured dragqueens, gays & lesbians and Dannii can be seen kissing a woman which was her way of showing her support also for the lesbians which is very rare in this industry.
The song became the official label anthem of 1999.
Mardi Gras celebrated their 30th anniversary 2008 and Dannii was honoured to write the foreword for the big party which had Olivia-Newton-John headline with her Xanadu.

Dannii has a huge gay following in America.
She has performed @ various event since the 90's and was the special guest of San Francisco's Gay Day. She impressed the audience so much with her high energy dance numbers and talent that Mayor Gavin Newsom declared May 27, 2005 the "Dannii Minogue Day" in the City and county of San Francisco.
